  Electric radiators, especially new generation ones, have many advantages:   Ease of installation : they do not require complex work, such as laying gas conduits or pipes.    Precise temperature control : they allow you to precisely set the desired temperature, room by room, thus providing personalized comfort.    Quiet operation : unlike some other types of heating, electric radiators operate silently, without ventilation or air circulation noises.    The absence of greenhouse gas (GHG) and fine particle emissions: Since they operate on electricity, electric radiators do not emit smoke or combustion gases, which makes them safer and more environmentally friendly. In fact, they do not affect air quality and act without compromising our health. 

The power to be installed is an essential point, it will depend on numerous parameters: the volume of the rooms, their orientation, the level of insulation, the geographical location. It will not only determine your level of comfort, but also and above all your energy expenditure. It is imperative to question the quality of the building's insulation. If it is insufficient, it is essential to undertake improvement work.  The choice of the power of an electric radiator depends on the size of the room to be heated, its degree of insulation, its ceiling height and the geographical region in which you live.   There is therefore no fixed value, by convention we count 100 watts per square meter for standard insulation. But for very insulated buildings (built from RT2012), we can we can install lower power.   If your home is poorly insulated, you will absolutely have to improve your installation.  We strongly recommend calling on a professional to carry out a complete thermal study.   In large rooms such as living rooms of more than 20 square meters, it is preferable to distribute the power over several radiators, for better homogeneity. 

The most efficient electric radiators are those which combine energy efficiency , thermal comfort and advanced features . For example, inertia radiators have the advantage of diffusing heat constantly and regularly.   Thanks to remote control and centralization of settings on a smart phone connected radiators provide energy management features that enable significant energy savings. 

What options are available for an electric heater?  More than just an option, the variety of Intuis electric radiator ranges allows you to choose a level of equipment according to your needs and budget.     All radiators in the Intuis range include at least one highly reliable electronic thermostat, which accurately and economically measures the quantity of heat emitted in relation to the desired temperature.     In addition, all radiators in the Intuis range offer the possibility of hourly, but also daily and weekly, programming , thus making it possible to automate temperature reductions at night and/or during periods of unoccupancy. Enough to make real savings since 1 degree less is equivalent to 7% savings (source ADEME).      Finally, each intuis radiator offers an “open window detection” function, to detect sudden temperature variations caused by the opening of a window and automatically turn off the radiator to avoid wasting energy.  At Intuis we also find the “absence detection” function in all ranges. From the convector to the high-end radiator, including radiant panels. If no presence is detected for a defined period, the radiator automatically reduces the set temperature to save energy and return to comfort when the room is occupied again. At intuis this function is associated with self-learning which will automatically create heating schedules taking into account occupancy rates.
